Photography has always been a passion of mine. When I sought out a name for my work, I had to search no further than my nickname. I have always been called kels/kelz from close friends. My maiden name begins with z and helped me to decide on Kelz Photography.

As most things in my life, I strive on creating something from “nothing”. While it be a coding or designing an html page starting with a blank page, to taking a picture from behind a lens. Each in their own way tells a story.

My husband and I recently moved with our two dogs to Charlotte, NC - from a suburb in the middle of Chicago & Milwaukee. We are enjoying everything that South has to offer from the crisp mountain air to the sounds of the waves along the shore. Follow our adventures on the blog as I rarely go anywhere without our cameras.
